What should I expect to receive?

When you join a WeTheHobby break, you’ll receive all the cards associated with the team, division, or spot you purchased for that specific break. Every card pulled for your spot will be shipped directly to you after the event.

What happens if I don’t hit a card?

Unfortunately, some breaks result in no cards for your team or spot, that’s part of the risk and excitement of breaking. To show appreciation, we occasionally include bonus packs or small thank-you items for participants.

Do you ship base cards?

Yes, base cards are shipped unless otherwise noted in the specific break description. Some large breaks may exclude base to keep shipping efficient.

What happens if there are two different teams on one card?

Dual- or multi-team cards will be randomized live during the stream to ensure fairness. The winner of the randomization will receive the card.

How do you handle collegiate products, retired players, and free agents?

Collegiate players are assigned to their current professional team. Retired players go to the team where they played the majority of their career. Free agents are assigned based on their most recent professional affiliation.

What happens if the card that is pulled is for a team that doesn’t exist anymore?

Cards from defunct franchises are assigned to the current team the franchise became. For example, a Seattle Supersonics card would go to the Oklahoma City Thunder spot.

What cards get sleeved and/or toploaded?

All autographs, relics, numbered cards, case hits, and high-value rookies are sleeved and toploaded for protection. Base cards are safely packaged in team bags.

How do multi-sport breaks work?

Each spot in a multi-sport break represents a specific sport (e.g., football, basketball, baseball). All cards from that sport go to the assigned buyer.

What happens with UFC, WWE, Soccer, and Golf cards in a multi-sport break?

Non-major sports like UFC, WWE, Soccer, and Golf are typically grouped into a “miscellaneous” or “international” category, depending on the break setup.

Where can I buy from WeTheHobby?

You can purchase directly from our website or join our live breaks on WhatNot and Fanatics.

What if I got banned from a chat?

We maintain a positive, respectful breaking environment. If you were banned, please reach out privately at support@wethehobby.com for review. Repeated or severe behavior violations may result in permanent bans.

What is a mod?

A moderator (“mod”) is a trusted team member who helps keep our live streams organized, answer questions, and maintain fairness in chat.

Types of Breaks

What is a Live Group Break?

A live-streamed event where sealed boxes or cases of cards are opened, and participants receive cards based on their team, division, or spot.

What is a Pick Your Team (PYT) Break?

You select a specific team before the break begins. All cards pulled for that team are yours.

What is a Random Team Break (Fixed Price)?

All spots are sold at the same price, and teams are randomly assigned live before the break starts.

What is a Random Team Break (Auction Price)?

Teams or spots are auctioned live, the highest bidder wins and receives all cards for that team.

What is a Random Division Break?

Each participant gets one division (e.g., NFC East). All cards from teams in that division go to that buyer.

What is a Hit Draft Break?

Each participant selects cards in order (draft style) based on randomized draft positions.

Orders & Shipping

Who do I contact if I have an issue with my order?

Please email support@wethehobby.com or message us through our website’s contact form. Our team typically responds within 1–2 business days.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Orders typically ship within 2–3 business days of the break or purchase. Tracking information is emailed once your order is processed.

How long does it take to process my order?

Processing typically takes 1–2 business days for retail items and 24–48 hours post-break for live events.

Refunds, Returns, & Exchanges

Can I refund my order?

All card and break sales are final due to the nature of the product. Refunds are only available if an order was processed in error.

Can I return my order?

We accept returns for apparel and merchandise within 14 days of delivery if items are unworn and in original packaging.

Can I exchange my order?

Exchanges are available for apparel or merch if stock allows. Please email support@wethehobby.com for assistance.
